5 June 2021: I had the greatest gift last night and saw my gone son in my dream. It hit me when I woke up; it hurts so bad knowing that dreams are the only place left that you can be with him. Please son, come to my dreams as much as you can. The grief I feel now is so strong, I’m sure it will fade away day by day. But my love for you is forever and you will always be a piece of mine. My big head cotton boy.

I am Müge from Istanbul. I have begun painting when I lost my beloved cat-son, who died from a heart complication. I started this as a therapy but then I realized that my son's energy turned into a painting inspiration in me. He will be here with me as long as I keep painting. I donate 25% of all my paintings to street animals in need.
