“God first created Adam. Immediately afterwards, Eve, known as the first woman, became the second human being created. God placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to care for and nourish the land. He told Adam and Eve that they could eat any fruit from the tree except the good and the bad tree. God warned them that if they ate from the tree, they would die. One day, Satan disguised himself as a serpent and spoke to Eve, convincing her to eat fruit from the tree of good and evil. Eve told the serpent that God had told them they should not eat it and that if they did they would die, but Satan tempted Eve to eat by telling her that if she had eaten she would have been like God. Eve believed the lie and took a bite of the fruit. Then she gave some to Adam to eat. "Neither of them knew how to hide with this shame."
Adam and Eve, mentioned in this way in the Bible, are actually still alive today. We have become ashamed of the consequences of our own identities and choices. It is now much easier for all of us to see someone else's fault or mistake.
We hid behind ourselves now. We don't see anyone.
Someone else will suddenly chime in, just be aware.

Safiye Otman 1993 yılında Antalya-Finike’de doğdu. 2017 yılında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültesi Resim Bölümü’nden mezun oldu. 2017 – 2020 yılında Akdeniz Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Enstitüsünde Yüksek Lisans Eğitimini tamamladı. Çeşitli kurumların açmış olduğu yarışmalarda derecelere girdi. Sanat anlayışı ve eserlerinde işlediği konular kadın ve toplumsal cinsiyet üzerine oluşmaktadır. Sanatsal deneyimini, tekniğini ve bilgisini geliştirme amacıyla, birçok araştırma sonucu yüksek lisans tezinde de bu konulara ağırlıklı olarak değinmiştir. Çalışmalarında imge ve plastik öge olarak kadın bedenini ve göstergelerini çokça kullanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda birçok karma ve grup sergilerine katılmıştır. 2019 ve 2020 yılları arasında 4 adet kişisel resim sergisi açmıştır. Sanat hayatına bireysel atölyesinde devam etmektedir.
